US - 2012 Decomissioned Hospital, Princeton, New Jersey

In 2012, University Medical Center in Princeton, New Jersey relocated its operations from their existing hospital in downtown Princeton to a new state-of-the-art facility nearby. A liquidation sale was held to dispose of all non-medical items that were left behind when the facility moved to its new location. Everything from printers, refrigerators and ice machines to artwork, computers and kitchen equipment was being sold. Earnings from the sale would go to the hospital, and anything not sold were reportedly donated to a nonprofit.
